Beryl Lou, Vice President, joined the firm in 2017. She is the Head of Investment Engineering serving as a single point of contact for the Institutional Equity and Multi Asset investment teams, focusing on optimizing portfolio management efficiencies. Prior to this role, Beryl was a Research Analyst for the Option Group at the firm, where she was focused on the firm’s option and volatility-based strategies. Before joining the firm, she was a research analyst with Kensho Technologies, a fintech startup. Beryl also worked for First Eagle Investment Management on the multi-asset absolute return investment team, where she focused on the risk-balanced absolute return and tail hedge strategies. Prior to that, she was a structured products research analyst at AllianceBernstein. Beryl received a BS in Mathematics / Economics from University of California, Los Angeles.
