New York, December 15, 2014 —Dyal Capital Partners, a private equity business of Neuberger Berman, won top honors in the Chief Investment Officer magazine 2014 Industry Innovation Awards for the category “Alternatives: Private Equity”.
Chief Investment Officer (CIO) wrote of Dyal, “Three firms dominate the GP-stakes business, but Neuberger Berman’s Dyal Capital was cited by nominators most often as ‘a true leader’ in this niche— and so far lucrative—space.”
CIO further describes the awards: “For the fifth time in as many years, December brings CIO’s much-lauded Industry Innovation Awards. Held in New York City, this event highlights the most innovative and positive work being done for, and at, the world’s largest pensions, endowments, foundations, and sovereign wealth funds.”
Methodology is described by the publication as: “The CIO Industry Innovation Awards are split into two general categories: asset management/servicing and asset owners. Nominations were open from June 15 until August 18, 2014. With input from our awards advisory board (last year’s asset-owner winners), as well as surveys and data where applicable, the CIO editorial team makes the final decisions as to finalists and eventual winners.”
“We thank CIO for this incredible honor recognizing the work we’ve done and the efforts we make on behalf of our clients,” said Michael Rees, Managing Director and Head of Dyal Capital Partners. “To be recognized among such industry leaders is truly humbling and gratifying.”
