Gideon Schapiro, CFA, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2017 following the acquisition of Breton Hill Capital Ltd (BHC). Gideon is a Portfolio Manager, and is focused on research and trade execution. Prior to BHC, Gideon was an Associate at Diversified Global Asset Management (DGAM), an alternative investment firm that was subsequently acquired by The Carlyle Group. Gideon holds a MMF in Mathematical Finance from the University of Toronto and a BSc (Hons.) in Mathematics from Queen’s University. Gideon has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
