New York, December 15, 2015 — Neuberger Berman, a global independent, employee-owned investment manager, is honored to be named for the third consecutive year among the Best Places to Work in Money Management by Pensions & Investments, the international newspaper of money management.

The publication announced the 2015 survey results in its December 14, 2015 issue. In this year’s survey, Neuberger Berman ranked second among the five winning firms in the category of employers with 1,000 employees or more. In Pensions & Investments’ 2014 and 2013 surveys, Neuberger Berman ranked second and third in the same category, respectively. Thirty-four companies in total were named to Pensions & Investments' Best Places to Work in Money Management list for 2015.

“We are delighted to be recognized by Pensions & Investments in this prestigious industry survey,” said George Walker, Neuberger Berman’s chairman and chief executive officer. “As we do with clients, listening to and understanding employees’ needs and challenges is the first step to creating sustainable solutions. Whether it is enhancing our retirement program or working to give back in the communities in which we operate, our efforts reflect employee feedback and direction. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve.”

The Pensions & Investments survey to determine the 2015 Best Places to Work in Money Management was performed in partnership with survey group Buck Consultants. To participate, money managers and organizations with investment and investment-related operations had to register, complete an employer survey and provide staff e-mail addresses for an employee survey. Employee survey responses accounted for 60% of an organization’s score and employer survey responses, 40%. While firms differed in the reasons they won this award, they were similar in their positive cultures and work environments, strong degrees of employee engagement and excellent benefits packages.
