Samuel Porat is a Managing Director of Neuberger Berman, Co-Founder of Marquee Brands and a member of the Board. Mr. Porat serves as Head of Royalty and Alternative Income Investments at Neuberger Berman with responsibilities for Marquee Brands as well as Athyrium Opportunities, which is a credit strategy focused on the healthcare sector. Mr. Porat also serves on the Athyrium Investment Committees and the Athyrium Investment Team. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman in 2004, Mr. Porat worked in the Lehman Brothers Investment Banking Division in New York where he focused on corporate financings and strategic advisory across several industries. In addition, Mr. Porat was the Director of Strategic Planning at Alfy.com, a media startup from 1999-2001. Mr. Porat holds an M.B.A. with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. with distinction from Yale University.
